HOW BECOME A STUDIO PRODUCER

Learn the fundamentals of studio production through immersive, hands-on training focused on professional techniques and studio equipment operation. Courses needed to be become certified are as follows: Be A Producer, Studio Production and Basic Editing.

LEARN HOW TO BE A FIELD PRODUCER

Learn everything you NEED TO KNOW to film on location. To become a certified field producer you will need to take the following courses: Field Production and Basic Editing.

CHALLENGE EXAM

You can bypass the courses listed above by taking our practicum Challenge Exam. This exam should only be taken if you have comprehensive experience and knowledge shooting using ENG cameras and filed equipment, and are proficient using Adobe Premiere. This is a pass or fail exam with no refund.

Become a Studio Producer

BE A PRODUCER COURSE

This is an introductory course to television producing.

Learn all of the skills you will need to bring your ideas from concept to broadcast.

Class Meets Tuesday & Wednesday on the following days:

  • March 17th
  • March 18th
  • March 24th
  • March 25th

Time:

  • 6:30pm to 9:30pm

Cost:

  • County -$140
  • Non County -$200

A foundational editing course covering essential techniques, workflow, and hands-on experience with professional editing tools. (Adobe Premiere Pro)

Basic concepts in digital non-linear editing. Hands on course for students who have successfully completed the Field Production course.
