CTV airs announcements for events or services within the community!
Please follow these guidelines when submitting a post for the Bulletin Board:
Who Can Submit A Bulletin ?
Announcements from sponsored non-profit organizations only. Organizations may be requested to provide a copy of their tax exempt status, for e.g., a 501(c)(3).
Fees ::
One 30-Day Announcement: $10
Twelve 30-Day Announcements (Annual Membership): $50
– The annual membership begins in June and runs through May of the following calendar year. One announcement per 30-day period.

Run Time
Each announcement will run through the date of the event( if applicable), not to exceed 30 calendar days. Non-dated material, i.e., announcements for ongoing services, will run for a maximum of 30 calendar days. Expired material will be removed daily.
Announcements will begin to air within 7 days of receipt. As an example, if you would like a message to run during the two weeks before the date of an event, CTV would need to receive the request at least three weeks prior to the date of the event.
Restrictions
Announcements concerning fund-raising events for charitable, non-profit organizations are accepted, but no mention of sales, auctions, bingos, raffles, ticket prices, monetary donations, etc. may be included. You may, however, include a telephone number and contact person.
Commercial, political or lottery announcements are prohibited.
Submission
Bulletin Board Posts should be typed. Eight lines of text, with approximately 20 characters in each line, will fit onto the page. CTV reserves the right to make editorial changes so as to best relay the basic information, which it considers to be:
- Name of the sponsoring organization
- Name of event or service
- Date & Time
- Location
- Information phone number
A phone number for people to call for details must be included in the announcement or it will not be placed on the Community Bulletin Board.
Requests may be forwarded to the address below, along with the $10 fee (check or money order made out to Prince George’s Community Television, CTV.) Members may e-mail announcements to ctv@ pgctv.org or fax to (301) 322-6132.
